I love a challenge. It is the foundation of my approach to life and business, and has been the key to my success as a real estate professional. This quality has also proven to be important when raising a house full of kids, although most of them are grown.
During my tenure as operations manager for a bank, I honed my financial skills. This has been a distinct advantage in the development of the construction business my husband and I started, and that he successfully operates today. For me, the term "family" also includes the small farm of animals that I love and care for every day.
Though I did not grow up in the Sandpoint area, this area holds a special place in my heart and I truly love living in a place where there is always something to do with my family or just enjoy the view.
When I'm not working with my business partner, Sarah Mitchell, I enjoy snowboarding, a good cup of coffee, and hanging out with family and friends, in the winter. Swimming, a great barbeque, boating, and jet skiing in the summer -- often Sarah's family can be found right there with my clan.

If you are looking for a great family place off the beaten path, check out Willow Bay, located 10 miles West of Sandpoint off Dufort Rd.
Willow Bay features a beautiful grass picnic area with large shade trees on the Pend Oreille River. For swimming and wading there is a nice level sandy beach area to cool off in on those hot summer days in August.
For a small fee you can launch your boat or jet ski at the Willow Bay Marina. (Fuel is also available if you need it.)
After several great rides on the jet ski, enjoying the crystal clear water and fabulous views, I settle into my favorite lawn chair with a good book or magazine and a wonderful cold drink served from the Trinity Caf?'s satellite restaurant which, by the way, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on the Docks At Willow Bay. If you get a chance come out to Willow Bay, you won't be disappointed.
