I moved to Sandpoint for the lifestyle! Growing up in a small resort town in Colorado, I was looking for the ideal resort town that offers activities for all the seasons. Sandpoint has so much to offer year round, it has become my family’s dream place to live. In the winter we spend most of our time skiing at Schweitzer Mt. Resort and Snowmobiling in the Selkirk Mountain Range. In May the snow is almost gone and we put the boat in the water to begin our wakeboard and water ski season. In June it starts to really heat up for the year and we take off the dry suits and summer hits full speed with camping, hiking, biking, boating, and just hanging in the sun with the kids at the beach. In September all the tourists leave and we have the lake to our selves, with some of the nicest water and weather of the year. The kids go back to school and the family starts to rest up for the holidays. I think Sandpoint is one of the best resort towns I have ever been to and I feel fortunate to be able to raise my family in such a great place.
